Stopped in at Big Daddy's last night and was pleasantly surprised at the burgers.  When you walk in it looks like a real dive, but the burgers were great.  Not the frozen patties you would expect.  Great place to hang out.

Hidden gem. We found this place on a bike ride a couple of years ago and fell in LOVE with this place. Think of the song, "Sittin' on the dock of the bay, wastin' time..." and you get the complete picture. Its bar food & beer on the lake. People running the place are super nice. Come to relax, watch a sports game, feed the ducks and people-watch.

This little gem is on Lake Grapevine which has some of the best scenery in Dallas. It has a large patio "on the water" and life changing, double-fried and made fresh/from scratch french fries and super friendly service and clientele that you can only find in Grapevine.
